One home for everything: a simple system
You do not need a perfect productivity method. You need a few homes and the habit of using them.
Most organizing advice fails because it is complicated. Here is a plain version you can keep.
Five homes
- Conversations: one chat app for family, one space for work.
- Memories: photos and notes you want to keep, in one library.
- Files: documents with names you can search.
- Calendar: every date, in one place.
- Reminders: the to-do list that nudges you.
Three habits
- Capture fast. Jot it down the moment it appears. Sort later.
- Sort weekly. Ten minutes on Sunday beats an annual purge.
- Search, do not browse. If you can find things by asking, filing stops mattering.
Where Cocoshell fits
The desktop app brings chat, a private photo and file library, memories, a calendar, reminders and notes together, so there is less to open and fewer places to look. It will not tidy your life for you, but it makes the tidy version the easy one.
