Why we're here
We built the opposite of a world that watches.
Cocoshell started with one worry, and it still guides every decision we make.
There are hundreds of companies you could use for this, and we're not trying to wrestle with any of them. We're big on privacy and security, and we hope you are too.
This started with a worry of mine: a world where everything we do is watched and noted, and our personal information sits somewhere we don't truly own.
So I built the opposite.
How it works
Think of a cookie jar in the kitchen.
A server is just a computer that stays on and hands out information. Here is the difference in how we use one.
A shared jar
YouTube, Instagram, Amazon, your phone messages. Everybody's cookies mixed together in one big jar.
Your own jar, with your name on it
You rent your own jar. If you ever leave, it gets emptied and your data is deleted.
To be precise: Business plans get a private server of their own. Single and Family plans share servers, with strong walls so every household stays entirely to itself.
Two different things
Secure and encrypted aren't the same.
We do both.
A locked house with an alarm
But if your jewelry is laid out on the dresser and someone gets past the alarm, they take it all.
Jewelry in lockboxes
The boxes open only with your code or fingerprint. A burglar can get inside, hold the box, and still can't open it.
We do both: a locked house and lockboxes.
Why it matters
It matters more than people think.
Most people don't care until it hits home.
Drained accounts
Stolen identity
Private photos leaked
A business losing client trust
You can't take that back afterward. Protecting it first is a lot cheaper than fixing it later.
A privacy-first, encrypted workspace for documents, chat, voice and video, all connected to your personal AI. Built so your information stays yours.
That's Cocoshell. Come and see what it's like to be somewhere that isn't watching.
